The rain took out my umbrella

Well actually it was the wind, I also managed to fall and run my tights, so I decided to stay home and do laundry and mending (not sure how to mend tights though). I got a bloody nose in class today which was very exciting, although not the good kind. My cold is gone, except for a bit of coughing and sore throat from all the snot though. So I should be good for the Academic walkabout tomorrow, and maybe I can finally track down someone from the psych department and get some accurate class schedules. I've got dinner with the folklore class tonight, but after that all I've got is the final, and essays to turn in for that class. I'm off to buy a new umbrella now. I'll tell you how the walk about goes tomorrow.

Hey! Love the Pics! Make sure you take pics of you and Flat D. kissing the Blarney stone in Blarney -yech! But Delaney is going to be taking her Ireland pics to school with her.

I am glad you bought your flight to Barcelona and can't wait to celebrate your birthday wih you. Here is our hotel:
http://www.hotelacdiplomatic.com
Just got your email about your friends coming to Barcelona with you, which is fine, but unfortunately hotels there have rather strict rules about only 2 people being in a room per fire codes, so we will probably need to find a hostel or priceline hotel for them.

Can you believe you have almost been there a month already and come home in 3 months? Let me know if you want to nanny during the winter break, as I need to get that planned out.

D had a great birthday. She did miss you though. She wants to call you at least 5 times a week, but everytime is late at night before she goes to bed.

Have you heard about Japan yet?

Well, I have to go now.

Take care!
Love,
Erin

Oh yeah. I forgot to tell you about Delano's big project at school. She is doing a Humanities study on Mexican holidays - she could have chosen Canada or Mexico and the topic of government, art, culture, holidays, economy or some other things. She chose Mexican Holidays because of Dia de los Muertos - the day of the dead. So, we spent tonight finishing up her presentation - which is in Powerpoint - and making her pinata and these: http://www.mexicansugarskull.com/mexicansugarskull/recipe.htm...

She sent you an email from Zoom to build a Rube Goldberg machine virtually. Rube Goldberg was a cartoonist who sketched complex machines to do simple tasks. Her newest Science project is for us to build one using things such as dominoes, mouse traps, plungers, and other crazy stuff... all to pull a string. They are studying physics, motion and friction... these projects are not easy!!!

She finished Harry Potter 4 and wants to start 5, but I have to read it first.

You know, it would be easier if you could set up a discussions or forum area for chatting on your blog, though I did not know if you could do that.

Start looking for places for us to visit in Barcelona. Must dos are La Rambla, the Marina and fabulous cuisine at Tapas restaurants. Also they have some restaurants that serve interesting cuisines. ~Start looking on the internet and send me places that you want to know about and I will check with my friend. He has said he would take us all out though the discos don't open until 12 or 1AM and dinner is not typically until 10 or 11PM. Crazy!

OK... Really going now!
